As part of the family rights agenda, we focus primarily on divorce, alimony issues and the regulation of contact with a minor child.
We are proud that we use interdisciplinary cooperation (the so-called Cochem model) in the agenda of custody and collecting regulations. Despite the fact that we defend the rights of our customer, we do not lose sight of the best interests of the child. Therefore, we do not fear from encouraging our clients in the guardianship agenda to behave in such a way that the best interests of the child always come first and there is no animosity towards the ex-partner. And basically (there is naturally exceptions) is that it is best for a child if his parents are the divorce, or after this, not with each other and do not use the child as a means of mutual fight. So that’s not something that does not happen, there is a wide range of other professionals (psychologists, consulting advisers, mediators) that can help parents bridge their differences and teach them to focus on the child. We do not claim that this makes us the best lawyers in family law, but it does set us apart from many other lawyers.
